Welcome to Jamal Washington: CEO

This area of the site invites you to explore a weekly saga into the life of Jamal Washington, a young Black man who attends a community college in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. Jamal is an ambitous student who aspires to own his own multi-million dollar company. Although he lives in a small row house, he has the support of a family (His father works for transit, and his mother is an executive secretary), including his sister Chantalle, who is a junior in high school.

Jamal's friends are few but loyal. His girlfriend is on a quest to break his shell and learn who he really is. This has been hard for anyone to do ever since Jamal's older brother Justin was gunned down in their neighborhood over a mistaken identity.
