Last week I wrote an article called Black Phenomenon and in it, I began to discuss the similarities between the Jewish and Black communities. While both have been through enormous struggles and have had attempts to see their respective peoples suffer great anguish. However, as I stated, there has remained a great difference between the two groups after the smoke has cleared. Jewish people have managed to establish greater level of wealth than any other group. In the book Jewish Phenomenon, the author goes to great lengths to explain why Jews have such great resiliency. |

Great News everyone! 
BlackMoneyMatters.com will be appearing every week at 8:30 AM EST on Sheridan Gospel Network's The Light. Gil Michel will be featured on a segment of the KD Bowe Morning show called, "Faithful Finances". The 3 1/2 minute segment will offer financial tidbits and financial information that will empower and educate listeners on small steps that we all can take to become more financially literate. KD Bowe is joined every morning by Ja'el and Bill Daniels on the exciting morning show and offers many other features that strengthen family such as Women's Wednesdays and others. The Light is broadcast in 48 cities throughout the United States and has a potential listenership of over 3 million people. If The Light isn't broadcast in your city, don't worry. You can listen to the broadcast on the internet. It is streamed on the internet and can be accessed by going to The Light and following the appropriate links. How do you like the new look of the website? Over the past several days some of you may have been at the site in the morning and noticed that the site looked different. We have been working with different focus groups asking them how they liked different styles of web design. We listened to our members and visitors and kind of came to a mix between two styles. We think it adds a little pizazz as well as allow us to stay functional. With the use of this new design we should be able to handle a larger amount of traffic on the site without it causing any server problems. However, we still have some people telling us some aspects they don't like about the site. If you still have some constructive criticism for the new design, please let us know. We can't say that it will be acted on, but at least you would've had a chance to voice your opinion. |
